Terms and Conditions
Last update: May 24th 2018 International B.V. applies unique terms that fit the evolving real-time dynamics of "meeting and working" in society. All locations visible on this website are individual enterprises that abide by a license (called Rights & Responsibilities) that is issued by International. These Terms and Conditions apply to the general use of the website and the booking of Meetingspaces and Workspaces.

1. Two booking options: Workspace or Meetingspace
Workspaces can be booked by individuals only and are typically located in the public spaces of our locations. When you plan to meet one or more people to meet at one of our locations, you are expected to make a Meetingspace booking. 

Workspace booking conditions: 
Unless communicated otherwise, workspaces are available for booking without making a financial transaction in exchange of Social Capital (See item 3 in these terms). Some locations do charge for the workspace they offer. In this case: if you cancel your booked workspace until 24 hours before the starting time of your reservation, we will not charge any cancellation fees. If you have not paid your booking 24 hours in advance, your booked workspace will be automatically cancelled and removed from the system.

Meetingspace booking conditions:
You can cancel your booked seats until 24 hours before your booking. After this period of time your booking at is final. Immediately after you have booked, you will receive a booking confirmation by e-mail. Moreover, you will receive two e-mails from us, one week and 48 hours before the starting time of your booking. These e-mails contain extra confirmation and the option to immediately change your booking or to cancel it.

2. Freedom to change your booking anywhere, anytime
You are free to change your booking online at up to 24 hours in advance. Make sure your booking information contains the final number of participants, the chosen food & drinks and the necessary audio-visual equipment, 24 hours in advance of your meeting.

3. Your Seats2meet Passport: control over your personal data
To work with our services we ask you to register and create a profile with us that requires your name, an email address and an optional profile picture. For Meetingspace bookings we require you to also provide us with billing address details.

As you work with the platform you are frequently invited to share more information about yourself such your areas of expertise, and to check-in on our locations to have serendipitous exchanges with others. Your profile and all your personal data that is stored on can be fully controlled by you from your profile passport.

4. We protect your privacy
We are committed to process your personal data with up to date security measures and in full accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 - the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please read our Privacy policy to learn more about how we protect and serve your personal data rights. For controls over your personal data please check your Profile Passport or contact our Data Protection Officer directly at in case of any further questions.

5. Exchange of Social Capital
5.1 Social Capital (SC) is the added value of individual talents of all players within a value network. At Seats2Meet we regard Social Capital as complementary to monetary currency. You can book Workspaces in exchange of Social Capital instead of money. By agreeing to the exchange of Social Capital you agree to demonstrate openness to meet others at our locations and share your knowledge with them. The exchange of Social Capital fosters relationship building and enhances the learning capacity of the overall Seats2meet ecosystem.

5.2 During the booking process you will be asked to share your areas of expertise. This information enables us to provide you with an overview of other people present at a location and the available expertise they have available.

6. Booking fees
Some locations may charge a booking fee for booking Meetingspaces or Workspaces. This fee will appear on your booking overview before payment.  

7. Terms of payment
7.1 Bookings of Meetingspaces at can be paid online, if a location provides this option. If is not possible to pay online, an invoice will be sent afterwards. Bookings of Workspaces should be issued through online payment. currently supports iDeal and credit card payments.

7.2 Bookings of up to 500 euro should be paid on the spot using a debit card after your meeting. The location will provide you with an invoice by e-mail after your payment.

7.3 When a paid booking is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, the payment will be refunded to your bank account within 30 days.

7.4 If a paid booking is not cancelled in time, will consider this booking as final. Refunds of online payments within 24 hours of the starting time of the booking are not allowed.

7.5 The system will automatically generate an invoice after the meeting. It will be send to the e-mail address you provided. If you wish to receive a hard copy of the invoice, we will charge 15 Euro administration fee per printed invoice. This amount should be paid within 14 days after the invoice date.

7.6 If the total amount of a booking exceeds 3000 euro (excl. tax) we will request for a prepayment, which is 50% of the total invoice. The prepayment should be paid within 14 days after receiving the invoice and at the latest, 5 working days before the meeting. When you make a new booking within the 'last-minute' period (within 5 days before the meeting), the payment should be received by us 48 hours in advance at the latest. The prepayment will be deducted from the final invoice.

7.7 When the invoice is not paid within the term of 14 days, an extra 1% of the total invoice amount will be charged each week. The final payment deadline is 4 weeks after the invoice date. After these 4 week, the invoice will be handed over to a debt collection agency. The accompanying costs will be passed on to the booker with a minimum of 10% of the total invoice sum.

8. Your personal belongings cannot be held liable for any case of damage or loss of your property or personal belongings you bring to any of our locations.
